What can I do if I have been required to pay an amount because I paid the ITP and ADJ incorrectly when I bought my house, because I declared it for a lower value?

It's possible that when you declared this tax you declared your property at its purchase price, and the Tax Agency, exercising its right to review, may issue a supplementary tax return requesting the difference between the tax and the cadastral value of the property, which is what they take into account. In this case, you must first submit an appeal within the specified timeframe against the tax assessment they have issued.

Can the Treasury review my previous VAT years and as a result send me a provisional settlement demanding payment of an amount of money?

In general, the statute of limitations for reviewing taxes is four years, so we must save and conserve during that entire time all types of documentation proving the assets or shares that we have declared on our taxes.
