Four years in prison for the person responsible for the Madrid Arena tragedy.

Four years in prison for the person responsible for the tragedy that occurred in 2012 known as the MADRID ARENA case, in which five young people were crushed to death in an avalanche. The greed of a businessman who sold more tickets than the capacity allowed for a Halloween party gave rise to this event.

With the aim of achieving greater economic benefit, Miguel Ángel Flores sold 16.492 tickets for a party that was held on November 1, 2.012, the pavilion had a capacity for 10.620 people, that was one of the greatest recklessness that they committed and that ended with an avalanche of people where the five young women between 17 and 20 years old were crushed to death.

This event culminated after three-thirty in the morning in a crowd of people trying to get out onto the central stage track, overwhelmed by the lack of space, but colliding with those trying to enter. A horrible event in which Cristina Arce and Karia Esteban died that same night, while Roció Oña, Belén Langdon and Teresa Alonso would do so in the following two days.

Almost four years after the tragedy, with a trial that began on January 12 in which the chilling stories of the young people who were trapped in the avalanche have been intertwined, the ruling ends by condemning the person responsible, Miguel Ángel Flores, known as MAF in the Madrid nightlife scene, four years in prison for the tragedy of MADRID ARENA. The Provincial Court of Madrid considers him guilty of five crimes of homicide due to serious recklessness and another 29 of injuries due to serious recklessness.
